Phoenix will offer a partially-shower door to residents who want to access their own showers without a glass shower door.
The waterfront property, located at the intersection of Arizona Street and Arizona Avenue, will offer partial door access for the first time in Phoenix’s history, a source said.
The area is in need of a complete shower door solution, said the source.
Phoenix is one of several metro areas that have decided to offer partial doors.
In May, the Phoenix area was ranked the most-loved city in the U.S. for its public housing residents, with residents saying they felt safer at their own homes.
The source said Phoenix has been testing partial door designs, and expects the door will be installed by the end of the year.
The building’s owners are also working on a larger building on the property that could be home to condos.
